Nick is the Founder and Principal of Fallbrook Partners. With over a decade of experience in commercial real estate investment, development, and brokerage, Nick leads the firm’s strategic growth, property acquisitions, and asset management.
Over the past five years, Nick has successfully acquired and developed over 175,000 square feet of commercial real estate, maintaining a 100% occupancy rate across a diverse portfolio of 40+ tenants. His expertise spans multiple facets of the industry, from hands-on property management to investment strategy and tenant representation.
Prior to founding Fallbrook Partners, Nick managed over 1 million square feet of Class A office space in the Downtown Minneapolis CBD, overseeing operations, leasing, and asset performance for institutional owners such as Goldman Sachs and DRA Advisors. He later transitioned into brokerage, where he represented tenants across Minnesota and in select national markets, helping businesses navigate complex real estate transactions and strategic growth plans.
Nick’s background in both ownership and brokerage gives him a unique perspective on real estate investments, balancing asset performance with tenant needs to create long-term value. His comprehensive understanding of market trends, property operations, and deal structuring positions Fallbrook Partners as a trusted firm in commercial real estate investment and management.

Ben Thone is a partner at Fallbrook Partners, where he plays a role in the firm’s residential and commercial land development operations. With years of industry experience, Ben specializes in identifying and overseeing development opportunities, focusing on the entitlements and construction phases to ensure each project is thoroughly planned and executed. His land development expertise spans from land acquisition to the ground-up construction of both residential and commercial properties.
Additionally, Ben oversees all commercial property construction projects, including tenant improvements and ongoing facility maintenance, ensuring high standards of quality and operational efficiency. With a strong background in brokerage, he also represents clients in commercial real estate transactions, providing solutions to assist with negotiations, due diligence, and closings, ensuring successful outcomes that match each client's goals.

Matt has spent the last decade working with some of the largest companies in Minnesota and beyond. Matt started working in Commercial Real Estate in 2021, where he quickly realized this was
what he was meant to do.
He spent nights, weekends, and most of his PTO learning and developing in the world of CRE before he left corporate America to follow his dream in 2024. Prior to that, Matt served as a Vice President of Sales for the largest media company in America. He has made a career out of prioritizing his clients’ needs ahead of his own.
Matt takes great pride in understanding his clients’ businesses before advising them on their real estate needs. As we often hear around the office “If you don’t understand your client’s business you can’t find them the perfect place to run it”. Matt is always looking for what’s next, finding creative solutions, and searching for new ways to grow alongside his clients.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys fishing, golfing, and being with friends and family. Matt and his wife, Tonya, are known as Mom and Dad to Henry, Adeline, and their Cavalier, Gus.
